Disney's Descendants at Amerant Bank Arena, Sunrise — 24 Nov 2026

Amerant Bank Arena lacks direct rail access. The nearest Tri-Rail stations, such as Fort Lauderdale Airport or Cypress Creek, necessitate subsequent onward travel via bus or ride-sharing services, typically adding an additional 45-60 minutes to the overall journey time.

• Bus & Public Transit: Broward County Transit (BCT) Route 22 services the Sawgrass Mills Transfer Station, which is directly adjacent to the arena complex. From the transfer station, a straightforward 5-7 minute walk east along Panther Parkway will lead directly to the venue's primary entrances.
• Parking: Extensive surface parking lots surround the arena, forming part of the larger Sawgrass Mills retail complex. Official arena parking areas are clearly demarcated. Due to the high volume of attendees at major events, pre-purchasing parking passes online is highly advisable to guarantee a space and potentially expedite entry. Expect notable traffic congestion on Panther Parkway and arterial roads immediately surrounding the venue before and after events.
• Entry & Doors: Entry to the arena is facilitated via multiple gates distributed around its circumference. All patrons are subject to comprehensive security screening, including metal detector checks and mandatory bag searches. The venue enforces a clear bag policy; visitors should consult the official Amerant Bank Arena website for current specifications on permissible bag sizes and prohibited items. Arriving 45-60 minutes prior to the scheduled start time is recommended to comfortably navigate parking, security protocols, and locate your designated seat or standing position.
