These routes offer frequent services throughout the day, typically running every 10-20 minutes during peak hours. For late-night travel, while specific late buses directly to the venue's immediate vicinity might be limited, the extensive night bus network operating from the Hauptbahnhof can provide access to many parts of the city. Where can I park at Jazzhaus?
Navigating to Jazzhaus by car is relatively straightforward, though city centre driving and parking require careful planning. For those approaching from major motorways like the A5, the exit for Freiburg-Süd or Freiburg-Mitte will be your gateway into the city. It is advisable to use a sat-nav postcode for the area around the venue, such as 79098, as the precise street address can be challenging for some systems. Parking in the immediate vicinity of Jazzhaus is predominantly on-street, which can be metered and time-limited, or in nearby multi-storey car parks. The most convenient option is often the Parkhaus am Hauptbahnhof or the CONTIPARK Parkhaus Rotteckring, both within a 5-10 minute walk. Expect parking costs to range from approximately €1.50 to €3.00 per hour, with daily rates often capped around €15-€20.
