ACL Live at The Moody Theater

The nearest Capital Metro Rail stop is Downtown Station, located at 4th Street and Neches Street. From the station, the venue is a 14-minute walk (approximately 0.7 miles) south-west. Proceed west on 4th Street for three blocks, then turn left (south) onto Lavaca Street. Continue south on Lavaca Street for two blocks until you reach West Willie Nelson Boulevard (West 2nd Street), where the venue is located.

Capital Metro offers numerous bus routes serving downtown Austin. Key stops within a 1-2 minute walk include Lavaca/2nd Street and Lavaca/3rd Street, serviced by routes such as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and others, providing extensive local transit connections.

Downtown Austin parking can be congested, particularly during events. Specific parking garages within a 10-minute walk include the City Hall Parking Garage (301 W 2nd Street, adjacent to the venue), the W Austin Hotel Garage (underneath the venue, often reserved), and the AMLI Downtown garage (201 Lavaca Street). Fees are typically elevated for event parking. Advance booking through services like SpotHero or ParkWhiz is highly recommended to secure a space and potentially mitigate costs.

The primary entrance is located on Lavaca Street. Queue arrangements typically form along the pavement. Standard security checks are in place, including bag searches; patrons should be aware of a clear bag policy or restrictions on oversized bags, which vary by event but generally permit only small clutches. Arriving 30-45 minutes before the advertised showtime is advisable to allow ample time for security and finding your desired position, especially for general admission standing events.
