AFAS Stadion

The nearest mainline station is Alkmaar railway station (Alkmaar CS). From Alkmaar CS, it is approximately a 32-minute walk south-west, following Stationsweg, then P.C. Hooftlaan, before turning right onto Robonsbosweg and continuing onto Stadionweg. However, taking a bus is generally recommended for convenience.

Alkmaar CS is well-served by local bus routes. Bus routes 160 and 162 provide direct connections from Alkmaar CS to the 'AFAS Stadion' stop, with a journey time of approximately 5-10 minutes. This is the most practical public transit option for most attendees.

The stadium offers several designated parking areas (e.g., P1, P2, P3) on-site. For major events, these car parks often operate on an advance booking or special permit basis, with limited availability and significant congestion on event days. It is strongly advised to pre-book parking if driving, or to consider park-and-ride options from the wider Alkmaar area. General street parking in the immediate vicinity is heavily restricted.

Entrances are located around the stadium's perimeter, clearly signposted according to ticket type and stand allocation. Security procedures, including bag searches, are standard. To allow ample time for transit, security checks, and finding your designated section, arriving at least 45-60 minutes before the advertised door time is recommended for major events.
