For travellers arriving by train, the most convenient station for the Allianz Arena is München Hauptbahnhof (Central Station). From here, you can connect to the S-Bahn network. The station is centrally located and offers excellent connections from major European cities, with frequent services arriving throughout the day. Approximate journey times from cities like Berlin are around 4 hours, from Vienna approximately 4.5 hours, and from Prague around 5.5 hours. Once at München Hauptbahnhof, take the U-Bahn line U6 in the direction of Garching-Forschungszentrum and alight at the station Kieferngarten. The Kieferngarten U-Bahn station is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the Allianz Arena, covering about 1.2 kilometres. The station itself offers standard facilities, including ticket machines and accessibility features, making it a straightforward point of access for visitors heading to the arena.

Reaching the Allianz Arena via bus is a convenient option, with several key routes serving the immediate vicinity. The nearest bus stops are located close to the U-Bahn station Kieferngarten. Bus route 189 connects the Marienplatz area to this station, offering a direct link from the city centre. Additionally, buses such as the 177 and 230 serve other nearby districts, providing further connectivity. These routes are operated by the Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft (MVG) and are integrated into the wider public transport network. Journey times from the city centre, depending on traffic, can range from 25 to 40 minutes. While direct late-night bus services to the stadium itself might be limited, the U-Bahn operates until late, and connections from Kieferngarten generally ensure a reasonable return journey after an event. It's advisable to check the MVG website for the most current route information and timetables.

Driving to the Allianz Arena is straightforward, with excellent road links from major German and European highways. The arena is easily accessible from the A9 (Nuremberg/Berlin), A99 (Munich Ring Road), and A92 (Munich Airport). For GPS navigation, using the postcode 80939 München is recommended. The venue offers extensive parking facilities directly beneath and around the stadium. There are multiple car parks (P1 to P6) with a combined capacity for thousands of vehicles. Parking fees typically apply and vary based on the event; for major concerts or matches, expect costs to range from €10-€20 per vehicle, though this can fluctuate. Assistance animals are welcome within the venue. While dedicated companion care facilities might not be extensive, staff are trained to offer assistance where needed. Accessible parking is available in close proximity to the entrances, and dedicated drop-off points facilitate easy arrival and departure. Venue staff are trained to provide support, so visitors are encouraged to contact the arena's accessibility services in advance to discuss specific needs.

Entry points are clearly signposted around the stadium perimeter, often delineated by specific gates or sections indicated on event tickets. Queue arrangements are managed by event staff, funnelling attendees through security checks, which include bag searches and metal detector scans. Patrons should anticipate strict bag policies, with large backpacks often prohibited. Arriving 60 to 90 minutes prior to the scheduled start time is recommended to navigate security, find seats, or position oneself comfortably within the standing area before the event commences.
