By train and tube
Aguascalientes currently operates no mainline passenger rail, metro, or light rail services. The city's historic train station now functions as the Museo Ferrocarrilero. Consequently, direct rail access to Arena San Marcos is not available.
By car and parking
Extensive surface parking facilities are available directly within the Macro Espacio para la Cultura y las Artes (MECA) complex, which encompasses Arena San Marcos. Named lots such as "Estacionamiento Macro Espacio para la Cultura y las Artes" are designated for event attendees. Fees are standard for event parking, and these lots can experience considerable congestion and reach full capacity rapidly, particularly for major events. Advance booking for parking is not typically offered; therefore, early arrival is strongly recommended to secure a space and navigate any traffic on Avenida Juan Pablo II.
Accessibility
Arena San Marcos is committed to providing an accessible experience for all patrons. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible, with ramped entrances and lifts available to access all main seating areas and facilities. Dedicated accessible viewing platforms are situated to offer excellent sightlines for main stage events, and companion seating is available. Accessible toilet facilities are conveniently located throughout the arena and are clearly signposted. Induction loop systems are installed in the main box office and customer service points to assist visitors with hearing impairments. Assistance dogs and service animals are welcome within the venue; however, please inform the venue in advance if you plan to bring one. Several disabled parking bays are located in the adjacent multi-storey car park, just a short distance from the main entrance. Venue staff are briefed and available to offer assistance throughout your visit.
Entry and security
Primary entrance points for spectators are located along Avenida Juan Pablo II. Queue arrangements usually involve designated barrier systems directing attendees to multiple access lanes. All patrons are subject to mandatory bag searches and security screenings upon entry. To ensure ample time for security checks, locating seating, and any pre-show refreshments, an arrival at least 45 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of a ticketed event is advisable.
