Arizona Stadium

The nearest mainline rail service is Amtrak's Tucson Station (400 N Toole Ave). From there, Arizona Stadium is approximately a 1.5-mile journey, which translates to a 30-minute walk southeast on N Toole Ave, then east along E 6th St, turning north onto N Cherry Ave, and finally west onto E University Blvd to the stadium grounds. Alternatively, passengers can take the Sun Link Streetcar from downtown directly to stops along University Blvd near the campus, followed by a 5-10 minute walk south to the stadium.

The Sun Link Streetcar offers convenient access, with multiple stops along University Blvd bordering the northern edge of the University of Arizona campus. Key Sun Tran bus routes also service the university area, with stops on major arterial roads such as Speedway Blvd, Campbell Ave, and E 2nd St, all typically within a 5 to 15-minute walk of the venue.

Several university-managed parking garages are available within a 10-minute walk of the stadium. Primary options include Cherry Avenue Garage (881 N Cherry Ave), Second Street Garage (1390 E 2nd St), Highland Avenue Garage (1240 N Highland Ave), and Tyndall Avenue Garage (880 E 2nd St). These facilities levy fees, and significant congestion can occur on event days. Advance booking of parking passes through the University of Arizona Parking & Transportation Services is strongly recommended to secure a space and streamline arrival.

Entry to Arizona Stadium is via designated gates, typically opening 60 to 90 minutes before an event commences. Patrons should anticipate security checks, including bag searches. The venue enforces a clear bag policy; only clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” are permitted. Given potential queues and security screening, arriving at least 45 minutes prior to the scheduled start time is advisable to ensure smooth entry and allow time to locate seating or concessions.
