Autódromo de Interlagos

The nearest rail access is via the Autódromo Station on CPTM Line 9 - Esmeralda. From the station, the main entrance (often Gate 7) is approximately a 1.5-kilometer walk. This route typically involves walking east along Avenida Jacinto Júlio or Avenida Interlagos for about 18-20 minutes.

Several SPTrans municipal bus lines serve the area surrounding the circuit. Key routes run along Avenida Interlagos and Avenida Jangadeiro, with numerous stops within a 5 to 10-minute walk of various circuit gates. Specific bus numbers and routes are often enhanced or redirected on major event days; consulting SPTrans directly for real-time information is recommended.

Dedicated official parking within the circuit perimeter is generally limited and often restricted to credentialed personnel or pre-booked passes for major events. For general attendees, numerous private, unofficial parking lots operate in the surrounding residential and commercial areas, particularly along Avenida Interlagos and its side streets. These lots typically charge variable fees, and advance booking is rarely an option; severe congestion is a consistent issue on event days, making alternative transport methods strongly advisable. No large, named multi-story car parks are within a 10-minute walk offering guaranteed public access.

Entry points are clearly signposted with specific gate numbers (e.g., Gate 7, Gate G, Gate M) corresponding to ticket types or designated viewing areas. Bag searches and security checks are mandatory and can lead to significant queues, especially during peak arrival times. For major events, arriving at least 1.5 to 2 hours before the scheduled start time is highly recommended to navigate ingress procedures and reach desired viewing positions.
