Ben Hill Griffin Stadium

Gainesville lacks direct mainline rail service. The nearest Amtrak stations are in Palatka, Florida (approximately a 1-hour 15-minute drive southeast), or Ocala, Florida (approximately a 50-minute drive south), both requiring onward bus or taxi connections to reach the stadium.

The Gainesville Regional Transit System (RTS) provides extensive local bus services throughout the city and the University of Florida campus. Several key routes stop directly along Stadium Road and University Avenue, immediately adjacent to the venue. Consult the RTS schedule for specific route numbers and real-time information, as service frequency can vary.

Parking directly on the University of Florida campus for non-university events, especially game days, is highly restricted and often requires special permits. Public parking options include several garages in Downtown Gainesville, such as the Southwest 2nd Street Garage or the High Springs Garage, typically a 20-30 minute walk or a short shuttle/rideshare from the stadium. Fees apply, and advance booking or pre-purchasing permits for official satellite lots is strongly advised on event days to avoid significant congestion.

Primary entry points are distributed around the stadium's perimeter via numbered gates (e.g., Gate 1, Gate 2). Patrons should confirm their specific gate designation on their ticket. Expect thorough bag checks (clear bag policy is enforced) and walk-through metal detectors. To ensure a smooth entry and avoid missing early event proceedings, arriving at least 60-90 minutes prior to the scheduled start time is recommended, particularly for high-attendance events.
