Blackheath Common

The nearest mainline station is Haslemere (GU27 1DR). From Haslemere Station, Blackheath Common is approximately a 40-minute walk north-east. Exit the station onto Lower Street, proceed north onto High Street, then turn right onto Shepherds Hill (A286). Continue north on the A286 (Haslemere Road) until you reach the vicinity of the common, turning right onto Marley Common Lane or other designated event access points.

Local bus services in the Waverley area are limited, particularly for direct access to the common. Stagecoach route 70 (Haslemere to Guildford) passes along the A286 (Haslemere Road) in the general vicinity of the common. Specific event shuttle services are often organised by promoters for larger events; consulting event-specific transport guides is highly recommended.

Dedicated event parking fields are typically established on or adjacent to the common for major gatherings, often requiring advance booking and incurring a fee. These temporary car parks are clearly signposted. Without event-specific arrangements, parking options in the immediate vicinity are scarce and informal lay-bys can quickly become congested. The nearest town car parks are in Haslemere itself (e.g., Chestnut Avenue, High Street), which would necessitate the aforementioned 40-minute walk to the common.
