Blackpool Winter Gardens

Blackpool Winter Gardens is a short distance inland from the Central Promenade. The nearest mainline station is Blackpool North. From the station, the venue is approximately an 8-minute walk. Exit the station, proceed south down Talbot Road, then turn right onto Church Street, where the main entrance is located.

Numerous local bus services operate routes through Blackpool town centre. Key bus stops are located on Church Street, Corporation Street, and Abingdon Street, all within a 2-minute walk of the venue. National coach services typically terminate at dedicated drop-off points or Blackpool Central Coach Station, which is a 10-15 minute walk south along the promenade and then inland.

Several paid car parks are available within a 10-minute radius. Options include the Houndshill Shopping Centre Car Park (access via Coronation Street), West Street Car Park, and the multi-storey facility on Talbot Road. Parking in Blackpool town centre can experience high demand, particularly during peak season or for major events, and charges apply. Advance booking through services like JustPark or local council sites is advisable to secure a space and potentially reduce costs.

The primary entrance is on Church Street. For larger events, queue lines often form along the pavement outside the main façade. Security protocols include bag searches, which can lengthen entry times. It is recommended to arrive at least 30-45 minutes before the advertised start time, particularly for seated events to allow time for finding seats, or for popular standing concerts to secure a preferred vantage point. Specific event doors often open earlier than the performance start time.
