California Memorial Stadium

The nearest BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station is Downtown Berkeley. From the station exit on Shattuck Avenue, it is an approximately 25-minute uphill walk east via Bancroft Way, then continuing onto Stadium Rim Way or Piedmont Avenue to reach the stadium's western entrances.

AC Transit provides several routes serving the UC Berkeley campus. Routes 6 and 65 have stops along Stadium Rim Way or Piedmont Avenue, very close to the stadium's main entrances. Alternatively, the 51B line runs along College Avenue, with stops near Bancroft Way, requiring a significant uphill walk (approximately 15-20 minutes) to the stadium.

Parking near California Memorial Stadium is extremely limited, especially on event days. The Underhill Parking Structure (2330 Haste St, Berkeley) and various UC Berkeley campus lots are available but often require advance booking or permits. On major event days, traffic congestion is severe, and pre-paid parking passes are highly recommended. Expect significant fees.

Entry points are located around the perimeter of the stadium, with specific gates often allocated based on ticket type or seating section. Patrons should anticipate standard stadium security procedures, including metal detectors and bag checks. Arriving at least 45-60 minutes before scheduled start times for major events is advised to allow for transit, security queues, and finding one's seat.
