Cardiff City Stadium

The nearest mainline station is Cardiff Central, approximately a 25-minute walk. From the station, proceed west along Cowbridge Road East, then turn left onto Sloper Road, which leads directly to the stadium. Ninian Park station is closer, a 7-minute walk, but offers less frequent local services.

Several Cardiff Bus routes serve the area. Routes 1, 2, and 95 operate stops along Sloper Road and Leckwith Road, both adjacent to the stadium. Specific event-day shuttles or increased services are often implemented for major concerts.

Official stadium car parks are available but often require pre-booking for events and incur significant fees. Leckwith Retail Park, located within a 10-minute walk, offers paid parking, though spaces fill rapidly on event days. Congestion in the immediate vicinity is severe before and after major events, and residential street parking is heavily restricted with permit schemes. Advance booking for any paid parking is strongly advised.

Entry is via multiple turnstile blocks situated around the perimeter of the stadium. All attendees are subject to bag searches and security checks upon entry. To allow for security procedures and avoid significant queues, it is recommended to arrive at least 60-90 minutes before the scheduled start time for any major event.
