Several bus routes serve the Crookes area, providing excellent public transport links to the venue. Key routes include:

• The 52/52a: Runs frequently from Sheffield City Centre (e.g., Arundel Gate, Charter Row) towards Foxhill and Crosspool, stopping close to Crookes Social Club on Crookes Road.
• The 97/98: These university bus routes also serve the area and can be a useful option depending on your starting point.

It is advisable to check live bus times and routes via Travel South Yorkshire or the relevant bus operator's website.

Driving to Crookes Social Club is an option, though parking can be limited in the immediate vicinity due to its residential and student-populated location.

• Street Parking: There is often on-street parking available on surrounding residential roads, such as Spooner Road, Moorcroft Road, and other side streets off Crookes Road. Please be mindful of local parking restrictions and residents.
• Nearby Car Parks: For dedicated car park facilities, consider the following:
  • Q-Park Sheffield Centre: Located in the city centre (S1 4DX), approximately a 10-15 minute taxi or bus ride away. This is a multi-storey car park offering ample space.
  • Westfield Car Park (S10 1EP): A car park located nearer to the Broomhill area, which might require a slightly longer walk or a short bus journey.

Given the potential for limited parking, using public transport or a taxi is often the most stress-free option for attending events at Crookes Social Club.

Crookes Social Club is committed to being an accessible venue for all patrons. While older buildings can present challenges, efforts have been made to improve access.

• Entrance: The main entrance to the club is generally level or has a ramp for easier access for wheelchair users.
• Main Hall: The primary gig space is located on the ground floor, with ample open space to navigate.
• Seating: While not all events will have allocated seating, general standing areas provide space for wheelchair users to position themselves comfortably. Some limited seating may be available for those with mobility needs, though it's advisable to contact the venue in advance to discuss specific requirements.
• Toilets: Accessible toilet facilities are available within the club, designed to accommodate wheelchair users.
• Assistance: The venue staff are generally helpful and can provide assistance to patrons with disabilities. It is recommended to contact the club in advance of your visit to discuss any specific accessibility needs or to arrange for assistance on arrival.

Please note that specific event configurations (e.g., stage placement, crowd density) can impact accessibility on any given night. Communicating with the venue beforehand is always the best course of action.

The main entrance is directly on Mulehouse Road. Queue arrangements are typically informal, forming along the pavement outside the main doors. Bag search policies vary depending on the event promoter but are generally implemented for larger performances. Arriving 15-30 minutes before the advertised door time is usually sufficient to secure entry without significant delay.
