Getting to the Donau-Arena by bus is a convenient option, with several nearby stops serving the venue. The closest bus stops are 'Arena Way' and 'Regensburg East'. These are serviced by key bus routes including the 4, 12, and 25. Route 4 connects the venue with the city centre and the western suburbs, while route 12 provides links to the northern districts and the university campus. Route 25 offers a direct connection from the main bus terminal in the city centre, making it ideal for those arriving from further afield. These routes operate frequently throughout the day, typically every 10-15 minutes during peak hours. Night bus services are available on routes 4 and 12 on Friday and Saturday evenings, ensuring safe travel home. Journey times from the city centre are usually around 20 minutes, depending on traffic. The primary bus operator is 'Regensburg City Connect'.

The Donau-Arena provides extensive, paid on-site parking facilities (Parkplatz P1-P4) directly adjacent to the venue on Werner-von-Siemens-Straße. Due to high demand and potential congestion on event nights, arriving early is advisable. Advance booking for these official car parks is generally not available, operating on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Donau-Arena is committed to providing an accessible experience for all patrons. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible, with ramped entrances and lifts providing access to all levels. Dedicated wheelchair viewing areas are available in prime locations, offering excellent sightlines. Accessible toilets are conveniently located throughout the venue, equipped with the necessary support facilities. The arena is equipped with a hearing loop system for individuals with hearing impairments; patrons are advised to check specific event details or contact the venue in advance for activation. Assistance dogs and service animals are welcomed, with designated relief areas available. Accessible parking bays are situated in the nearest car park, with staff available to assist patrons with mobility needs from the car park to the entrance. Venue staff undergo regular training to ensure they can provide helpful and discreet support to all visitors.

Entrances are clearly marked along the front facade of the arena. Expect security checks, including bag searches, upon arrival. To ensure a smooth entry and avoid last-minute queues, particularly for high-capacity events, it is recommended to arrive at least 30-45 minutes before the advertised door time.
