Essigfabrik Köln

The nearest light rail stop is Poller Kirchweg, served by U-Bahn line 7. From Poller Kirchweg, the venue is an approximate 6-minute walk south down Siegburger Straße. For mainline connections, Köln Messe/Deutz station (served by S-Bahn, Regionalbahn, and ICE services) is the closest major hub. From Köln Messe/Deutz, one can take U-Bahn line 3 or 4 to Deutz Technische Hochschule and then transfer to line 7 towards Zündorf, disembarking at Poller Kirchweg, or take bus line 153 or 159 towards Poll Salmstraße/Gremberghoven, alighting at Poller Kirchweg. The direct walk from Köln Messe/Deutz is approximately 25 minutes.

Several bus routes serve the vicinity. Bus lines 153 and 159 both stop at Poller Kirchweg, which is directly adjacent to the venue on Siegburger Straße. These routes offer connections to other parts of Köln, including Köln Messe/Deutz station and various suburban areas, making the Essigfabrik accessible from across the city's public transport network.

Dedicated, official parking directly at the Essigfabrik is very limited, consisting primarily of a small surface lot at Siegburger Straße 110-112, which fills quickly. Patrons are advised that street parking in the immediate vicinity is scarce and often restricted. For more reliable options, the APCOA Tiefgarage Köln Arcaden (Opladener Str. 129) is a multi-story car park located about a 15-minute walk north along Siegburger Straße. Fees apply, and advance booking is generally not required but can be considered for major events to ensure space. Congestion can be high on event nights, so allowing ample time is recommended.

The main entrance to the Essigfabrik is located directly on Siegburger Straße. Queues form along the pavement outside the venue. Security checks, including bag searches, are standard upon entry. Doors typically open 60 to 90 minutes before the scheduled stage time of the first act. Arriving 30-45 minutes after doors open is usually sufficient to avoid the initial rush while still securing a good spot, though for particularly popular or sold-out events, arriving closer to door opening times is advisable.
