Estádio Municipal de Rio Maior

Rio Maior does not have a direct mainline rail connection. The nearest significant railway station is Santarém, approximately a 35-minute drive (38 km) to the southeast. From Santarém station, onward travel to Rio Maior requires either a local bus service connecting to the Terminal Rodoviário de Rio Maior or a taxi. A 35-minute taxi journey from Santarém station is the most direct option.

The primary public transit hub is the Terminal Rodoviário de Rio Maior, located on Rua Dr. Augusto César da Silva, approximately a 12-minute walk northeast of the stadium, via Rua do Ginásio. Regional bus services, primarily operated by Rodoviária de Lisboa Group (Transdev), connect Rio Maior to surrounding towns such as Santarém, Caldas da Rainha, and Lisbon. Specific routes should be checked with the operator for current schedules.

The stadium provides dedicated parking facilities, often expanding into surrounding unpaved areas for larger events. Additional public parking options exist within a 10-minute radius, including the large municipal car park adjacent to the Mercado Municipal de Rio Maior, approximately an 8-minute walk west via Rua Francisco Xavier da Silva. While some street parking may be available, congestion can be significant on event days; advance arrival or pre-booked parking (if offered for specific events) is advisable. Fees apply at most formal car parks.
