Etihad Arena

Etihad Arena, situated on Yas Island, does not currently have direct access to a mainline rail, metro, or light rail network. Visitors travelling from within the UAE typically rely on private vehicles, taxis, or inter-city bus services to reach the vicinity of Yas Island.

Yas Island is served by the Yas Express, a complimentary shuttle bus service connecting various attractions across the island, including stops near Etihad Arena. Additionally, Abu Dhabi's public bus network provides connections to Yas Island from key points within Abu Dhabi city. Route numbers and schedules are subject to change, so consulting the Abu Dhabi Department of Transport's official channels for the most current information is advisable for connections to Yas Island. From the Yas Express stop at Yas Bay Waterfront, the arena's functional entry is a 5-minute walk inland, curving slightly around the waterfront promenade.

Ample parking is available for Etihad Arena attendees. The dedicated multi-story car parks immediately adjacent to the venue, such as Yas Bay Car Park, offer extensive capacity. Additional parking is available across Yas Island, with shuttle services often provided for larger events. Fees typically apply, and pre-booking parking online via the arena's official website is highly recommended to secure a space and avoid congestion, particularly during major events.

While the arena's most prominent architectural facade overlooks Yas Bay, the primary public entry points for ticket holders are located on the inland side of the venue, accessible from the main plaza after traversing from the Yas Bay waterfront promenade or directly from the adjacent parking facilities. Attendees should expect standard security procedures, including bag searches and ticket scanning, upon arrival. Doors typically open 60 to 90 minutes before the scheduled event start time, and arriving at least 45 minutes prior is recommended to navigate entry queues, security, and find seats without rush.
