Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater

Miami Beach has no direct heavy rail or metro service. The nearest major public rail connection is the Metromover/Metrorail system in Downtown Miami. From Freedom Tower Metromover Station (Miami, FL 33132), it is approximately a 5-minute walk west to a bus stop on Biscayne Boulevard to connect with Miami-Dade Transit bus route 120 (S Line), which crosses the MacArthur Causeway into Miami Beach. The bus journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.

The venue is directly accessible via Miami-Dade Transit. Key bus routes include the 120 (S Line), 150 (Airport Express), and the South Beach Local (Route 123) for intra-Miami Beach travel. Multiple bus stops are located directly on Washington Avenue adjacent to the theatre, including "Washington Av & 17 St," offering immediate access.

The primary parking facility is the City of Miami Beach 17th Street Garage (1735 Convention Center Dr, Miami Beach, FL 33139), situated a 2-minute walk east of the venue, accessible from Washington Avenue or Convention Center Drive. Additional options include the Pennsylvania Avenue Garage (1755 Pennsylvania Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139), a 5-minute walk west. Parking fees are variable and can be elevated during event nights; advance booking via city parking apps is advisable to mitigate congestion and secure a space.

The main entrance is prominently located on Washington Avenue. Queuing for entry typically forms along the sidewalk outside the main doors. Standard security protocols, including bag checks and walk-through metal detectors, are in effect. To ensure a relaxed entry and navigate security procedures without rushing, it is recommended to arrive 45 to 60 minutes before the published showtime.
