Gerald Ford Stadium

The nearest Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) light rail station is Mockingbird Station, serving the Blue, Red, and Orange lines. From Mockingbird Station, the stadium is approximately a 25-minute walk north along Mockingbird Lane. Alternatively, local DART bus connections are available from Mockingbird Station to closer stops on the SMU campus perimeter.

Several DART bus routes serve the SMU area. Key routes include the 769 (SMU Express, during peak hours/events) and routes along Mockingbird Lane and Bishop Boulevard, which connect to various points in Dallas and the DART rail system. Consult the DART Trip Planner for real-time routing and specific bus stop locations nearest the stadium.

On-campus parking is available, primarily at the Moody Parking Center and Binkley Parking Center, both within a 10-minute walk of the stadium. Fees are typically charged, and parking can become heavily congested on event days. Advance booking for campus parking through the SMU Parking and Transportation website is highly recommended to secure a spot and expedite arrival. Off-campus private lots may also be available further afield.

Main entrances are located on all sides of the stadium perimeter. Specific gate numbers for ticketed entry will be indicated on event tickets. Queue arrangements are managed by event staff, with metal detector screening and clear bag policies strictly enforced. It is advisable to arrive 60-90 minutes prior to the scheduled event start time to allow ample time for security checks, bag searches, and navigating to your seat or standing area, especially for high-attendance events.
