Headingley Stadium

The nearest mainline station is Leeds City Station. From here, the stadium is approximately a 15-minute taxi ride or can be reached via public bus services. Headingley Station, a local line stop, is a more convenient option for those travelling on local rail networks; it is a 15-minute walk south-east from the stadium via Kirkstall Lane and Headingley Lane.

Headingley Stadium is well-served by numerous bus routes along Headingley Lane and Otley Road. Key routes include the 1, 6, 28, and X84, with several stops directly outside or within a short walk of the stadium complex. For events, additional services or extended hours may be in operation.

On-site parking at Headingley Stadium is extremely limited and generally reserved for officials or pre-booked passes. Residential streets surrounding the venue operate strict parking restrictions, particularly during events. Attendees are strongly advised to utilise public transport or pre-book spaces at official event-specific park and ride schemes, which are often advertised in advance of major concerts. General public car parks further afield in central Leeds would require onward travel via bus or taxi.

Entry points are typically via designated turnstiles for specific stands (e.g., North Stand, South Stand). Queue arrangements usually form along the pavement areas leading to these gates. Bag searches are mandatory, and prohibited items lists are strictly enforced. To ensure smooth entry and avoid last-minute congestion, particularly for large-capacity events, it is recommended to arrive at least 45 minutes to an hour before the advertised doors open time.
