Holstein Stadion

Kiel Hauptbahnhof is located approximately 4.5 kilometres east of the stadium. Direct walking is impractical, requiring about 50 minutes. From Kiel Hauptbahnhof, frequent bus services offer the most direct connection.

The Holstein Stadion is well-served by Kieler Verkehrsgesellschaft (KVG) bus routes. The primary stop, "Holstein-Stadion," is located directly on Westring, immediately adjacent to the venue. Key routes include Lines 32 and 33, providing direct service from Kiel city centre and Hauptbahnhof. Services typically run every 10-15 minutes, with the journey from Kiel Hauptbahnhof taking approximately 15-20 minutes. Other nearby stops, such as "Westring / Uhlenkrog," also serve the area.

A dedicated car park, "Parkplatz Holstein-Stadion," is situated off Westring, directly north of the venue. For major events, this facility can fill quickly, and a fee applies. Additional limited street parking may be available in the surrounding residential and commercial areas, though restrictions and congestion are common on event days. Advance booking or early arrival is advisable for guaranteed parking.

Main entry points are distributed along Westring, with specific gates clearly marked for different stands (e.g., North, South, East, West). Standard stadium security protocols are in place, including bag searches and metal detector screenings. Attendees are advised to arrive at least 60 to 90 minutes before the scheduled event start time, particularly for high-capacity performances, to allow ample time for security checks and to navigate to their seating or standing area.
