Jardins de Joan Brossa

The nearest rail access is via the Montjuïc Funicular. From Paral·lel Metro Station (L2 and L3 lines), the Funicular provides a direct ascent up Montjuïc. The upper Funicular station is approximately an 8-minute uphill walk south-east through the park area to the main entrances of Jardins de Joan Brossa.

Multiple bus routes serve the Montjuïc area. Bus line 150 connects Plaça d'Espanya (L1, L3 Metro) directly up the hill, with stops near the Olympic Stadium and Mirador de l'Alcalde, both within a 5-to-10-minute walk to various entry points of the Jardins. Bus line 55 also runs along the base of Montjuïc, offering connections to other transit hubs.

Parking on Montjuïc can be challenging, particularly during events. While limited street parking may be available on side roads, it is not guaranteed. For larger events, visitors are advised to consider parking at commercial garages near the base of Montjuïc, such as those around Plaça d'Espanya or Parallel Avenue, and then utilizing public transit or the Funicular. Advance booking for these garages is often recommended, and fees apply.

As a park, Jardins de Joan Brossa does not have conventional "doors." For ticketed events, dedicated entry points are established, typically identifiable by temporary signage and security personnel. Bag search policies will be clearly communicated by event organizers and may vary. It is generally advisable to arrive 30-45 minutes before the scheduled start time to allow for transit, potential queues, and finding your preferred spot within the open space.
