How do I get to Longhorn Ballroom, Dallas?
Longhorn Ballroom is at South Riverfront Boulevard, Dallas, 75099. Open in Google Maps
By train and tube
The Longhorn Ballroom does not have direct DART light rail access within comfortable walking distance. The nearest major DART transfer hub is Dallas Union Station (Red, Blue, Green, Orange Lines), located approximately 2.0 miles east. From Union Station, connecting to DART Bus Route 010 is the recommended onward journey.
By bus
DART Bus Route 010 offers the most direct public transit connection, with stops situated immediately outside the venue on West Commerce Street. Key stops include "Commerce @ Hampton - W - FS" and "Commerce @ Vilbig - E - NS", both providing a negligible 1-2 minute walk to the main entrance. This route facilitates connections to various DART Rail lines and other bus services across Dallas.
By car and parking
The venue benefits from a substantial, complimentary parking lot directly adjacent to the building. While generous, this on-site parking can become congested and fill quickly during popular or sold-out events. Arriving at least 45 minutes before the scheduled door time is advisable to secure a space without significant delay. No dedicated paid parking garages are typically necessary given the venue's ample provision.
Entry and security
The main entrance is prominently located on West Commerce Street. Standard security procedures are enforced upon entry, including bag searches and metal detector screenings. For well-attended performances, queues may form outside the entrance. To ensure a smooth and timely ingress, particularly for general admission events, arriving 30-45 minutes prior to the advertised door time is recommended.
