Loreley Freilichtbühne

The nearest mainline station is St. Goarshausen (served by the RB10 regional train line). From St. Goarshausen station, reaching the Loreley Freilichtbühne requires further travel. A direct walk from the station to the venue is a demanding uphill climb of approximately 4.5 kilometers, making it generally unsuitable for event attendees. For major events, dedicated shuttle services are frequently arranged from St. Goarshausen station directly to the Loreley plateau. Taxis or pre-booked ride-shares offer an alternative.

Regional bus lines serve the Loreley plateau, but their schedules may not align with late-night event finishes. For large-scale events, it is common for organisers to provide special shuttle bus services from key regional transport hubs and nearby towns, operating directly to the venue's entrance area. Attendees should consult event-specific announcements for the most accurate and up-to-date public transit options.

Extensive parking facilities are available on the Loreley plateau, adjacent to the Loreley Visitor Centre (Loreley 7, 56348 Bornich). These car parks are situated inland and uphill from the Rhine river, approximately a 10 to 15-minute walk from the amphitheatre entrance. Parking fees typically apply, and for popular events, advance booking of parking or early arrival is strongly advised to manage congestion.
