McLane Stadium

Waco, Texas, lacks mainline passenger rail services, a metro system, or light rail. The nearest Amtrak station is located in McGregor, Texas, requiring an additional 25-minute drive to reach McLane Stadium.

The Waco Transit System (WTS) provides local bus services. Route 2 (Baylor University) and Route 16 (North 17th Street) have stops within a 15 to 20-minute walk of the stadium, primarily along I-35 frontage roads or University Parks Drive. Patrons should consult the WTS schedule for specific route timings and stops that align with event schedules.

Numerous paid parking lots are situated directly adjacent to McLane Stadium, including official Lots A, B, C, and D on the south and east sides of the venue. Additional event parking is available in the surrounding Baylor University campus area, such as the Ferrell Center Parking Garage, typically a 10 to 15-minute walk south across I-35 via pedestrian bridges. Fees vary by event, and advance booking via the stadium's official website is strongly recommended to secure a space and avoid congestion on event days.

Primary entry gates are located on the stadium's west side (facing the Brazos River) and south side (adjacent to I-35). All attendees are subject to standard stadium security procedures, including bag checks and walk-through metal detectors. A clear bag policy is typically enforced. To ensure smooth ingress and allow ample time to locate seating or field access, arrival 60 to 90 minutes before the scheduled start time is advisable.
