Mewa Arena

The nearest mainline station is Mainz Hauptbahnhof (Mainz Hbf). From Mainz Hbf, the arena is approximately a 3.5-kilometer journey. Walking takes around 45 minutes south-west along Saarstraße and Europaplatz. Bus connections are highly recommended.

Several local bus lines provide direct access to Mewa Arena. Key routes include lines 51, 53, 56, 58, and 650, which stop directly at "Mewa Arena" or "Kisselberg," a short walk to the venue. These services connect to Mainz Hbf and other parts of the city, operating within the VRM (Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Mosel) and RMV (Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund) public transport networks.

On-site and adjacent parking facilities are available, notably P1 (Arena Car Park), P9, and P10. These are directly accessible from the stadium ring road. For large events, expect significant congestion and pre-booking of parking passes is strongly advised, as fees apply and spaces can fill rapidly. Arrival well in advance is essential.

Entry points are clearly signposted with gate numbers around the stadium. Queue arrangements are organised for efficiency, but patrons should anticipate security procedures including bag searches, which adhere to standard stadium policies for prohibited items and bag size restrictions. For major events, it is recommended to arrive at least 60-90 minutes before the scheduled start time to allow for security checks and to navigate the concourses.
