Michie Stadium

The nearest mainline station is Cape Town Station, approximately a 20-minute walk east to the stadium's primary entrance on Michie Boulevard. Exit the station onto Adderley Street, turn right onto Strand Street, then left onto Christiaan Barnard Street, which leads directly to the stadium precinct.

Michie Stadium is well-served by the MyCiTi Bus system. Key routes such as the 101, 104, and 261 stop at the "Michie Stadium" station located directly adjacent to the main western entrance on Martin Hammerschlag Way. Further connections to the broader MyCiTi network are available from the Cape Town Station MyCiTi Terminal, a 25-minute walk south-east, or a short connection via various local routes.

Limited on-site parking is available via advance booking only, often at a premium, and congestion around the stadium is significant on event days. Recommended off-site parking options include the Picbel Parkade and the numerous parking garages within the Cape Town CBD, such as those beneath the CTICC or at Harbour Arch. These are typically a 15-20 minute walk from the stadium and often require advance booking for major events.

The main pedestrian entrances are located along Michie Boulevard (eastern side) and Martin Hammerschlag Way (western side), clearly signposted with gate numbers corresponding to ticket allocations. Doors typically open 90 minutes before the scheduled start time for concerts and longer for sporting events. Expect thorough bag searches and security checks; a clear bag policy is often enforced. Arriving 45-60 minutes before the event start is advised to navigate security and locate seating without rush.
