Michigan Stadium

The nearest mainline rail service is via the Ann Arbor Amtrak Station (ARB) located at 325 Depot Street. From the station, the stadium is approximately a 2.3-mile walk south along North Main Street, which typically takes around 45 minutes, or via a combination of bus and walking.

The Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide) operates several bus routes serving the vicinity of Michigan Stadium. Key routes include those traveling along Stadium Boulevard and South Main Street. On event days, special shuttle services often run from various remote parking lots and downtown Ann Arbor directly to the stadium area.

Numerous parking options exist, though availability and cost vary significantly, particularly on event days. The University of Michigan's Crisler Center lot (adjacent to the stadium) and the Pioneer High School lots (across Stadium Boulevard) are common choices, often requiring advance permits or incurring premium cash fees. Other university-controlled surface lots and privately operated parking structures are located within a 10 to 20-minute walk. Advance booking for major events is highly recommended due to high demand and congestion.

Entry points are located at various gates around the stadium's perimeter, identified by numbered "Gate" signs. Expect comprehensive bag searches and metal detector screenings upon entry. A strict clear bag policy is typically enforced. Due to the immense crowd sizes for most events, arriving at least 60-90 minutes before scheduled start times is advisable to navigate security and locate seating without rush.
