North Queensland Stadium

The nearest mainline station is Townsville Railway Station (QLD). From the stadium's primary public entrances along Boundary Street, it is an approximate 20-minute walk west/southwest. Head west along Boundary Street, turn left onto Stanley Street, and then right onto Railway Avenue to reach the station.

Several local Sunbus routes serve the area, with stops located along Boundary Street and Saunders Street. These routes connect the stadium to Townsville's central business district and surrounding suburbs. Consult Translink's journey planner for specific route numbers and schedules relevant to your event date.

Limited on-site parking is typically reserved for event staff or premium ticketholders. For general attendees, various commercial and council car parks are available in the Townsville CBD, approximately a 15-minute walk inland. Consider parking garages such as the City Arcade Car Park or Bolton Street Car Park. Heavy congestion is common on event days, so advance booking via third-party parking apps is highly recommended, and fees will apply.

Public entry gates are clearly signposted along Boundary Street and Saunders Street. Expect security bag searches and metal detector screenings upon entry. For major events, it is advisable to arrive at least 45-60 minutes before the advertised start time to allow for security checks and to navigate the concourses to your seating or standing area.
