Notre Dame Stadium

The nearest mainline rail service is available at South Bend Station (SBN), located at 210 South Emmet Street, South Bend. This station serves Amtrak and the South Shore Line (NICTD) commuter rail. The stadium is approximately a 3.5-mile journey from the station, necessitating a 10-15 minute taxi or rideshare service, or connection via local Transpo bus routes.

South Bend's Transpo bus service provides connections to the university campus. Specific routes, such as Route 17 (U.S. 31/S.R. 933 corridor), operate stops within reasonable walking distance of the campus perimeter. Additionally, campus shuttle buses often run special routes on event days to facilitate movement around the university grounds.

On-campus parking is available in various university-managed lots, including those near the Joyce Center and Stadium. For major events, parking fees apply, and it is highly recommended to pre-purchase parking passes well in advance via the university's official channels. Expect significant congestion on roads leading to and from the campus, as well as within the parking areas, especially during peak arrival and departure times.

Entrances are distributed around the stadium perimeter. Specific gate assignments may be printed on tickets. All attendees are subject to bag searches and metal detector screening. To mitigate delays and ensure sufficient time for security procedures and finding your seating, it is advisable to arrive at least 60-90 minutes before the scheduled start of any major event.
