Nottingham Playhouse

Nottingham Playhouse is approximately an 18-minute walk from Nottingham Station. Exit the station onto Station Street, turn left, then proceed north along Carrington Street, which transitions into Maid Marian Way. Turn right onto Upper Parliament Street, then left onto North Circus Street, which leads directly to Wellington Circus where the venue is situated.

Numerous Nottingham City Transport (NCT) bus routes serve the immediate vicinity. Stops on Derby Road (routes 30, 31, 35, 36) and North Circus Street (various routes) are within a 5-minute walk. Consult NCT journey planners for the most current and direct services.

Several car parks are available within a short walk. Q-Park Nottingham on Talbot Street is a 5-minute walk north, offering secure multi-storey parking. NCP St James's Street, a 7-minute walk south, is another central option. Congestion can be significant during peak times; advance booking is highly recommended for weekend and evening performances.

The main entrance is located on Wellington Circus. Queue arrangements typically form directly on the pavement outside the main doors. Bag searches are standard practice upon entry. To allow ample time for ticket scanning, bag checks, and to visit the foyer facilities, patrons are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the advertised start time.
