Rose Bowl

The Rose Bowl is not directly accessible by heavy rail. The closest light rail service is via Metro A Line (formerly Gold Line). The most convenient stations are Memorial Park Station or Del Mar Station in Downtown Pasadena. From these stations, a dedicated Rose Bowl Shuttle service typically operates on major event days from the Parsons Corporation parking lot (approximately a 10-minute walk west from Memorial Park Station via Colorado Blvd). Direct walking from these stations to the Rose Bowl is approximately 45-60 minutes (3-4 miles) along Arroyo Parkway and then west onto Arroyo Blvd, which is generally not recommended due to distance and hilly terrain.

Extensive paid parking is available on the grounds of the adjacent Brookside Golf Course, accessible via multiple entry points off Arroyo Blvd and Rosemont Ave. Parking fees are substantial for major events, and significant congestion can be expected on entry and exit. Advance booking for parking passes is highly recommended through official Rose Bowl channels to secure a space and potentially reduce queuing time. Unofficial parking in surrounding residential areas is heavily restricted and often involves towing enforcement.

The Rose Bowl is committed to providing a welcoming and accessible experience for all visitors. Wheelchair accessibility is a priority, with ramped entrances and dedicated lifts to navigate different levels of the venue. Accessible seating areas are available in various locations throughout the auditorium, offering excellent views of the stage. Fully equipped accessible toilets are located on each floor, and the venue provides hearing loop or induction loop systems for those with hearing impairments, available upon request. Assistance dogs and service animals are permitted inside the venue. Accessible parking spaces are situated in the closest car parks and can be reserved in advance. Venue staff are trained to offer assistance to attendees with disabilities, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free visit. Please contact the venue directly prior to your visit to discuss specific accessibility needs.

Main entrances are located around the perimeter of the stadium, clearly marked with gate numbers. For most events, gates open 90 minutes to 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time. Patrons should anticipate thorough security checks, including bag searches (with strict bag size policies often enforced). Arriving at least 60-90 minutes before the event begins is advisable to navigate parking, shuttles, and security queues, especially for high-attendance events.
