Shaftesbury Theatre

The nearest London Underground station is Tottenham Court Road (Central, Northern, and Elizabeth lines), a 5-minute walk south down Charing Cross Road before turning right onto Shaftesbury Avenue. Alternatively, Leicester Square (Piccadilly and Northern lines) is an 8-minute walk north-west via Cranbourn Street and Charing Cross Road, then turning left onto Shaftesbury Avenue.

Shaftesbury Theatre is well-served by numerous bus routes. Key routes such as 14, 19, and 38 stop directly outside the theatre or at nearby 'Cambridge Circus' on Shaftesbury Avenue or Charing Cross Road. This area is a significant hub for London bus services, providing connections across the city.

Driving to central London is generally discouraged due to congestion charges and limited, expensive parking. For those requiring private vehicle access, the nearest car parks include Q-Park Chinatown (Newport Place, London WC2H 7PR), an 8-minute walk, or Q-Park Trafalgar (Spring Gardens, London SW1A 2TS), a 12-minute walk. Advance online booking is highly recommended to secure a space and often provides a discount on daily rates.

The main entrance is located prominently on Shaftesbury Avenue. Queues typically form along the pavement directly outside. Standard bag search and security checks are in place. It is advisable to arrive 30-45 minutes before the scheduled curtain time to allow ample time for ticket scanning, coat check, and pre-show refreshments.
