Stadion Dresden

The nearest mainline station is Dresden Hauptbahnhof (Main Station). From Dresden Hauptbahnhof, the stadium is approximately a 20-minute walk east, primarily following Wiener Straße before turning left onto Lennéstraße. Alternatively, a short tram ride is available.

The stadium benefits from excellent connections to Dresden's public transport network. Key tram stops include "Großer Garten / Zoo" (served by Tram lines 9 and 13) and "Lennéplatz" (served by Tram lines 10 and 13), both positioned within a 5-minute walk of the main entrances. Several bus routes also connect different parts of the city to stops located around the adjacent Großer Garten park.

On-site stadium parking is typically limited and often reserved or pre-booked, usually incurring a fee. General public parking in the immediate vicinity is exceptionally scarce on event days due to extensive road closures and high demand. Viable alternative paid parking options include "Parkhaus Karstadt" at Antonsplatz 1 (approximately a 25-minute walk northwest) or "Parkhaus Wiener Platz" adjacent to Dresden Hauptbahnhof (a 20-minute walk west). Attendees should anticipate significant traffic congestion both before and after events. Advance booking for any available stadium-area parking is strongly recommended where possible.

Main entry gates are situated along Lennéstraße and from the side bordering Großer Garten park. Entrances are clearly marked according to ticket categories (e.g., standing pitch access, specific seated tiers). Standard security procedures, including thorough bag searches, are mandatory upon entry. Large bags are generally prohibited inside the venue. Arriving 45-60 minutes before the advertised start time is advised to allow ample time for navigating queues, clearing security, and locating your position without undue rush, particularly for popular events.
