Stadthalle Aurich

Aurich does not possess a mainline train station or any urban rail infrastructure. The nearest regional train station offering regular intercity connections is Leer (Ostfriesl), situated approximately 30 kilometers south. From Leer, onward travel to Aurich is facilitated by regional bus services (e.g., Line 400), with a journey time of approximately 45-60 minutes to ZOB Aurich.

Stadthalle Aurich benefits from excellent connectivity via local and regional bus networks due to its immediate adjacency to ZOB Aurich (Central Bus Station). Numerous routes, including 400, 410, 411, 412, and 460, either stop directly at or terminate within a very short walk of the venue. Walking from ZOB Aurich to the hall's main entrance on Bürgermeister-Anklam-Platz takes less than 2 minutes.

Several convenient parking options are available within a 10-minute radius. The dedicated parking area directly at Bürgermeister-Anklam-Platz 1, adjacent to the hall, offers the most direct access. Alternatively, the multi-storey Parkhaus Carolinenhof is located a 3-minute walk northeast, beneath the Carolinenhof shopping centre. Both facilities operate on an hourly or event-rate fee structure. During high-demand events, these car parks can reach capacity quickly, therefore early arrival is advisable. Advance booking for these facilities is generally not available.

The primary entrance to Stadthalle Aurich is located on Bürgermeister-Anklam-Platz. Queue arrangements typically form directly outside these doors. Standard security procedures, including bag inspections, are enforced, so attendees should be prepared and avoid bringing excessively large bags. Doors usually open between 60 to 90 minutes before the scheduled performance start. Arriving at least 30 minutes prior to the event is recommended to allow ample time for security checks and to comfortably find your position within the auditorium.
