Theater am Marientor

The venue is a convenient 8-minute walk west from Duisburg Hauptbahnhof. Exit the station onto Mercatorstraße, turn right, then cross the street to continue west along Puppenbrücke, which leads directly to the theatre's main entrance on Am Marientor.

The "Duisburg Hbf Ost" and "Duisburg Hbf West" stops are major hubs for numerous city bus lines, all within a 10-minute walk. The specific "Duisburg Marientor" stop, served by local bus routes, is located directly adjacent to the theatre on Plessingstraße.

Several paid parking garages are available within a short walk. The "Parkhaus Forum Duisburg" (Landfermannstraße 6) is approximately a 5-minute walk, while the "Parkhaus Hauptbahnhof" (Mercatorstraße 17) is an 8-minute walk. Fees apply at all garages; advance booking or early arrival is advisable during peak event times to secure a space and avoid congestion.

The primary entrance is located facing the Marientor roundabout, accessed from Puppenbrücke. Queue arrangements are typically well-managed, leading to clear security checkpoints for bag searches. Patrons are advised to arrive 30 to 45 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to allow sufficient time for entry, cloakroom use, and pre-show refreshments.
