Knoxville is not served by a frequent intercity passenger rail network; therefore, rail travel is not a practical option for reaching the arena. The nearest Amtrak stations are located in other states, requiring subsequent long-distance bus or car transfers.

The Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) system provides several routes serving the University of Tennessee campus, within a reasonable walk of the arena. Route 10 (UT Shuttle/Neyland Stadium) has stops along Phillip Fulmer Way, directly adjacent to the arena. Other routes, such as Route 11 (Kingston Pike), can connect to the campus area, requiring a transfer or a longer walk of approximately 15-20 minutes east along Neyland Drive to reach the venue.

On-campus parking for events is managed by the University of Tennessee Parking & Transit Services. Key parking garages and lots within a 10-minute walk include the G-10 Garage (adjacent to the arena), Staff Lot 5, and the Volunteer Boulevard Garage. Pre-booking parking passes online via the university's event parking portal is highly recommended, particularly for major events, to avoid congestion and ensure a space. Fees vary by event, and cash payments on arrival may be limited. Expect significant traffic delays immediately before and after large events.

Multiple entry gates are positioned along the eastern and northern sides of the arena, accessible from Phillip Fulmer Way and Volunteer Boulevard. Patrons should arrive at least 45-60 minutes prior to the advertised start time to allow for security checks, metal detector screenings, and bag policies, which typically restrict large bags and backpacks. Specific entry points may be assigned based on ticket type, so checking ticket information in advance is advisable.
