Vaught Hemingway Stadium

Oxford, Mississippi, does not have a direct passenger mainline rail service. The nearest Amtrak station is Memphis Central Station (MEM) in Memphis, Tennessee, which is approximately a 65-mile drive northwest and not a viable option for direct rail access to the stadium.

Vaught Hemingway Stadium is located within the University of Mississippi campus. The Oxford-University Transit (OUT) system provides local bus services. The "South Campus Loop" (Purple Route) and "Express" (Red Route) often operate routes passing along All-American Drive, which borders the east side of the stadium. The nearest major OUT stops are typically adjacent to The Pavilion at Ole Miss or the Turner Center, both within a 5 to 8-minute walk west or northwest to the stadium's primary gates.

For major events, on-campus parking can be congested and often requires pre-paid permits or significant fees. The Pavilion Parking Garage, located directly north of the stadium complex, and the South Campus Parking Garage are common options, typically requiring advance booking for event days. Multiple surface lots on the periphery of the campus are also utilized, often with shuttle services to the stadium entrance for large events. Expect significant congestion on entry and exit, and it is highly advisable to book parking well in advance or consider off-campus alternatives with shuttle access.

Main entry points are distributed around the stadium's perimeter. Common entry gates include Gate 1, Gate 2, and Gate 19, located on the north, east, and south sides, respectively. Queue arrangements are typically structured with barrier systems leading to security checkpoints. A clear bag policy is generally enforced, and all attendees are subject to bag searches and walk-through metal detectors. Arrival at least 45-60 minutes before the scheduled start time is recommended to allow for transit, security screening, and finding seats without rushing.
