The nearest mainline station is Potsdam Hauptbahnhof, located inland to the rear of the venue. From Potsdam Hbf, the Waschhaus Arena is an approximate 15-minute walk south-east along Lange Brücke and then turning left onto Schiffbauergasse.

Reaching the Waschhaus Arena by bus is a straightforward and convenient option for local and regional travellers. The closest bus stops are located on Victoria Road and Station Approach, both within a 5-minute walk of the venue. Several key bus routes serve these stops, including the number 12, 23, and 45. Route 12 primarily connects the venue with the city centre and the eastern suburbs, while route 23 offers services to the northern districts and the main shopping areas. Route 45 is useful for those travelling from the outskirts and outlying villages. Night bus services, such as the N12, operate on weekend nights, ensuring safe travel back from late-night events. Journey times from the city centre are typically short, around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. The primary bus operator serving these routes is CityBus.

The "Parkhaus Schiffbauergasse" is situated directly adjacent to the venue, offering convenient, paid parking. Given the venue's popularity, spaces can become limited, especially on busy event nights; advance arrival or consideration of alternative public transport is advisable.

The Waschhaus Arena is committed to providing an accessible experience for all its visitors. The main entrance is step-free and accessible for wheelchair users. While there isn't a dedicated lift to all areas, accessible viewing platforms and seating are available in the main hall, offering excellent sightlines. Accessible toilet facilities are located on the ground floor, equipped with appropriate grab rails and space. The venue does not currently offer a hearing loop or induction loop system, but patrons with hearing impairments are encouraged to contact the venue in advance to discuss potential arrangements. Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the venue. Designated accessible parking bays are available in the nearby Crown Car Park. Venue staff are briefed to offer assistance to visitors with disabilities upon arrival and throughout their visit; please do not hesitate to approach a member of the team for support.

The main entrance to Waschhaus Arena faces the Havel river, directly on Schiffbauergasse. Security procedures include standard bag searches. For optimal viewing positions and to avoid missing support acts, it is generally recommended to arrive at least 30-45 minutes prior to the advertised stage time for the main performance.
