Accessibility

XOYO strives to be as accessible as possible, though the nature of its historic building presents some challenges.

  • Entrance: The main entrance on Cowper Street is at street level, with step-free access.
  • Main Floor: The main dancefloor and bar area are on the ground level and are generally accessible.
  • Toilets: Accessible toilet facilities are available on the ground floor.
  • View: While the venue is designed for immersive experiences, sightlines can vary depending on crowd density. Staff will do their best to assist patrons with accessibility needs.
  • Assistance: If you have specific accessibility requirements or require assistance during your visit, it is strongly advised to contact XOYO in advance of your event. Their team can provide further details and make necessary arrangements to ensure a comfortable experience.

Entry and security

The main entrance is located directly on Cowper Street. Queueing arrangements are typically managed along the pavement outside the venue. Standard security protocols, including ID checks (Challenge 25 policy) and bag searches, are in place. Arriving shortly after doors open is recommended for popular events to mitigate potential queue lengths, though entry procedures are generally efficient.
