Expo Plaza

The nearest mainline and S-Bahn station is Hannover Messe/Laatzen (S4). From here, it is approximately a 15-minute walk west along Karlsruher Straße, then north through the Messegelände towards Expo Plaza. Alternatively, the Hannover Stadtbahn (light rail) Line 6 terminates at Messe/Ost, which is a 5-minute walk north-west directly to the main entrance of the venue on Expo Plaza.

Several local bus routes serve the Hannover Messe area. Bus routes 340 and 341 have stops along Karlsruher Straße, south of the Expo Plaza, requiring a 10-minute walk north through the Messe grounds. Additional bus services (e.g., 800) operate during major exhibition events, often connecting directly to the Messe Ost entrance.

Extensive paid parking is available at the Hannover Messe complex. The most convenient for the venue is Parkplatz 18 (P18), located directly west of Expo Plaza. Other large parking areas, such as P26, are within a 10-minute walk. Fees are typically flat daily rates, payable upon entry. During large events, congestion can be significant; advance booking or early arrival is highly recommended.

The primary spectator entrances are located on the north and east sides of the venue, facing Expo Plaza. Queueing systems are clearly marked, with separate lines for ticket holders, VIPs, and those requiring accessible entry. Bag search policies are strict, with larger bags and backpacks generally prohibited. Patrons are advised to arrive at least 45 minutes before the advertised start time to allow for security checks and to navigate to their seats or preferred standing location.
