Junkyard

The nearest mainline station is Dortmund Hauptbahnhof (Dortmund Hbf). From Dortmund Hbf, take the U47 tram line (platform 6) three stops north-west to the "Hafen" station. This journey takes approximately 5 minutes. From "Hafen" station, Junkyard is a 6-minute walk north-west along Hafenpromenade, then turning right onto Karolinenstraße.

In addition to the U47 tram, local bus routes connect to the Dortmund Hafen area. The "Schmiedingstraße" bus stop, serving routes such as 405 and 455, is a 3-minute walk from the venue entrance on Karolinenstraße. This stop provides further connections to Dortmund's wider public transport network.

Direct, dedicated venue parking is not available. Limited street parking can be found in the surrounding Hafen district, though it is often contested, especially during events. The nearest public parking garage is Parkhaus Hafen Dortmund (Speicherstraße 20), approximately a 12-minute walk south-east from the venue. Fees apply, and advance booking is generally not an option. Expect potential congestion on event nights; public transit is strongly recommended.

The main entrance is located directly on Karolinenstraße. Queue arrangements are typically managed outdoors. Standard event security measures include bag searches upon entry. For popular events or specific stage preferences, arriving 30-45 minutes before the advertised door time is advisable to ensure smooth ingress and optimal positioning within the venue.
