Koninklijk Theater Carré

The nearest metro station is Weesperplein (lines 51, 53, 54), located to the venue's east. From Weesperplein, it is approximately a 7-minute walk west along Sarphatistraat, turning south onto the Amstel. Amsterdam Centraal Station is further north inland and requires a metro connection to Weesperplein or a 25-minute walk.

Several tram lines service the area. Tram lines 1, 7, and 19 stop at both Weesperplein and the Amstelbrug, the latter being a 2-minute walk from the theatre's main entrance. Various bus routes also connect to the Weesperplein transit hub, providing comprehensive local transit links.

The most convenient parking is the Q-Park Theater Carré garage, situated directly beneath the venue, though spaces can be limited and expensive. An alternative is the Stadhuis/Muziektheater garage located across the Amstel river to the west, which is approximately an 8-minute walk. Parking Centrum Oosterdok, further north inland, offers more capacity but requires a longer walk or a short tram connection. Advance booking for these facilities is strongly advised, especially during peak event times, to mitigate congestion and secure a spot.

The main entrance for all ticket holders is prominently situated on the Amstel side of the building. Queue arrangements are typically well-managed, forming along the riverside promenade. Standard security procedures, including bag searches, are in place. It is recommended to arrive 30 to 45 minutes before the scheduled performance start time to allow for ticket scanning, cloakroom services, and finding your seat without rush.
