Leeds Irish Centre

Leeds Station is the nearest mainline rail hub. From the station concourse, a 15-minute walk east via New Station Street and then south-east along Swinegate, past Brewery Wharf, and then turning left onto Marsh Lane, leading directly onto York Road, will bring you to the Centre.

The Leeds Irish Centre is well-served by numerous bus routes operating along York Road, a primary arterial route. Key services such as the 4, 16, 16A, 19, 19A, 40, and 56 stop directly outside the Centre (York Road - Lincoln Green Road stop) or within a minute's walk in either direction. These routes connect directly to Leeds City Bus Station and various parts of the city.

The Centre benefits from its own large, free car park accessible from York Road. While ample, it can fill quickly during popular events, particularly on weekends. Advance booking is not typically required or offered. Additional on-street parking in the immediate vicinity is generally restricted, so reliance on the Centre's own facilities or public transport is advisable.

The main entrance is prominently located on York Road. Queue arrangements are typically straightforward, forming along the pavement directly outside. Bag searches are standard policy upon entry, varying in thoroughness depending on the event profile. For optimal positioning, particularly for popular standing events, arriving approximately 30 minutes before the stated door time is recommended.
