Mattioli Arena

Leicester Railway Station is the nearest mainline rail connection. From the station, the arena is approximately a 20-minute walk (1.0 mile / 1.6 km). Head southwest on London Road, turn right onto Waterloo Way, continue onto Tigers Way, then Freemens Common Road, and finally turn left onto Ellis Way where the venue is located.

Several Arriva bus services serve the vicinity. Key routes include the 47, 48, 49, 84, 85, and X45, which operate along Welford Road and Freemens Common Road. The closest stops are "Freemens Common" or "Aylestone Road," both within a 5- to 10-minute walk of the arena.

Limited on-site parking is available at Mattioli Arena, which often requires advance booking and may incur fees. Additional paid parking is available at the Freemen's Common Multi-Storey Car Park (University of Leicester), typically an 8-minute walk. Congestion is common on event days; pre-booking parking is highly recommended to secure a space.

The main entrance is situated on Ellis Way. Queueing for entry typically forms along the pavement outside the venue. Standard security procedures, including bag searches, are in place. Patrons are advised to arrive 30-45 minutes prior to the advertised door time, and earlier for high-profile or sold-out events, to allow ample time for security checks and entry.
