O2 Academy 2 Leicester

Leicester railway station is the primary mainline connection. From the station, the venue is an approximately 18-minute walk south-east. Exit onto London Road (A6), proceed south-east, then turn right onto University Road. The Percy Gee Building, housing the venue, will be on the left.

Several local bus routes serve the University Road area directly. Key services, including those operated by Arriva and Centrebus, have stops located within a 2-minute walk of the Percy Gee Building entrance. For those arriving via national coach services at St Margaret's Bus Station, a local bus connection or an additional 25-minute walk south-east is required.

The NCP Leicester Welford Road car park (LE2 7AD) is a substantial multi-storey option, situated approximately a 10-minute walk north-west from the venue. Standard fees apply, and due to potential city centre congestion, particularly during evening events, advance booking via the NCP app or website is advisable. Limited metered street parking may be found on adjacent side streets but is frequently at capacity.

The main entrance for O2 Academy 2 Leicester is located within the Percy Gee Building on University Road, typically sharing the same access point as the larger O2 Academy Leicester. Queues generally form on the pavement outside the building. Security personnel conduct routine bag searches and ticket verification at the doors. Patrons are advised to arrive 30 to 45 minutes before the advertised stage time to facilitate smooth entry and secure a preferred vantage point within the standing-room-only hall, especially for high-demand events.
