Key stops on Colston Street, Lewins Mead, and Broadmead are serviced by routes including the M1, M2, M3, M4, and local services such as 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 72, and 73. Regional coach services arrive and depart from Bristol Coach Station on Marlborough Street, approximately a 12-minute walk east, uphill via Union Street and Broadmead.

The Trenchard Street multi-storey car park is situated directly adjacent to The Lantern, offering paid hourly parking. Advance booking is strongly recommended for evening and weekend events due to high demand. Other options include the St James Barton car park, a 7-minute walk east along Lewins Mead, which also operates on a paid hourly basis. Central Bristol experiences congestion, so allocate sufficient travel time.

The main entrance for The Lantern is located within the Bristol Beacon complex on Trenchard Street and is clearly signposted.
