Weser-Stadion

Weser-Stadion is located approximately a 3.5-kilometer walk southeast from Bremen Hauptbahnhof (Bremen Hbf). A more practical approach involves taking local public transport from the station. From Bremen Hbf, take tram line 3 (direction Weserwehr) and alight at the "Weserstadion" stop. The tram journey takes approximately 12-15 minutes, followed by a short 3-minute walk north along Franz-Böhmert-Straße to the stadium's eastern gates.

The "Weserstadion" tram stop (served by tram line 3) is directly adjacent to the stadium's eastern perimeter. Additionally, bus lines 20 (stopping at "Weserstadion Süd") and 21 (stopping at "Franz-Böhmert-Straße") provide further connections across Bremen's public transport network, linking various city districts and suburban areas to the stadium's inland side.

Limited on-site parking is available for major events and often requires advance booking or a special permit. The designated public parking areas, such as parking garage P7 on Franz-Böhmert-Straße, are typically a 5 to 10-minute walk from the stadium's eastern perimeter. Fees are substantial, and severe congestion is common both before and after events. Patrons are strongly advised to pre-book parking where possible or utilize public transport.

The stadium's primary architectural frontage faces the Weser river to the west, with associated entry points accessible via the river promenade. However, for most large-scale events, significant public access points are also located along Franz-Böhmert-Straße on the eastern, inland side of the venue. Multiple gates are assigned by ticket type and seating block. Security checks, including bag searches, are mandatory upon entry. Arriving 60 to 90 minutes before the advertised start time is recommended to navigate queues and find seats without rush.
